Our Story



In pursuit of providing greater value and returns for their member owner’s grain, six Oklahoma Cooperatives joined their grain marketing divisions in 2001 and formed Equity Marketing Alliance, LLC.

All grain pricing, merchandising, logistics and accounting were transferred from each local cooperative to EMA’s team of grain specialists.

EMA was developed with three foundational concepts:

  1. EASY – simple to understand and implement.
  2. IMPARTIAL – equitable treatment of large and small members and patronage based.
  3. AFFORDABLE – value-priced membership.

Since the first grain receipts of the 2002 wheat harvest, EMA has experienced significant growth with more cooperatives recognizing the advantages of our “One Vision” approach.  EMA currently has seventeen Cooperative owner-members operating 87 grain receiving locations in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.
